Boom lifts are heavier in weight than scissor lifts. They’re great for maneuvering around as some of them can even be attached to cars for quick and easy access to high-reach points. Boom lifts are also very durable.
Scissor lifts require more maintenance as they have to be placed in the exact spot where the work is being done (they can only reach vertically). Yet, they are lighter, much cheaper, and more accessible than boom lifts. Scissor lifts are also more stable and thus better for safety.
